Nick Thorburn's Islands' third album, Vapours, is out in a little less than two months (it's due Sept. 22) and in promotion of the album the band has announced a lenghty North American tour set to launch in Florida less than a week after the album comes out. Be Your Own Pet frontwoman Jemina Pearl, who will be out on her first solo tour after Be Your Own Pet dissolved last summer, is opening for Islands on many of the dates.
