Earlier this morning, producer extraordinaire Pharrell Williams somehow managed to defuse the beef between Miley Cyrus and Tyler, The Creator and get the two to appear in a studio together. While we have yet to hear what the fruits of that labor will be, it now seems that Pharrell is working with none other than the legendary Rakim.
The MC spoke to The Detroit News during his current tour, wherein he's performing Paid In Full in full, the 1987 classic that Rakim recorded with Eric B. He intimated that he's been in the studio with Pharrell and a new single should be out later this year. An album with follow in 2013, making it Rakim's first LP since 2009's The Seventh Seal. If Pharrell somehow gets Rakim, Miley Cyrus, and Tyler, The Creator to all work together, my head's going to explode. [HipHopDX]
