Is Jay-Z Done With The Word "Bitch"?
An interesting rumor surrounding Jay-Z and his use of the word "bitch" has hit the web. And it comes via a supposed poem penned by the new father, who folks are claiming is done with the term after the birth of his daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. The poem is below:
"Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/ I didn't think hard about using the word bitch. I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/ now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it.
"I never realized while on the fast track that I'd give riddance to the word bitch/ to leave her innocence intact. No man will degrade her, or call her name/ I'm so focused on your future, the degradation has passed."
Hov's team hasn't responded to the claims and some sources -- including NY Mag and, well, yours truly -- are thinking this is probably false. What do you think? Legit or just a hoax? [VIBE]
