Just in case you didn't hear about all this previously, let me sum up the supposed Drake-Common disses for you. Basically, it was thought that Common was firing shots at Drake on "Sweet" with lines like "Y'all ni**as man, y'all soft motherfuckers/Singing all around me man, la la la/ You ain't motherfucking Frank Sinatra/Uh, lil' bitch./Sweet ass motherfucker."
Common then said the following in an interview when he heard that Drake caught feelings when he heard "Sweet":
“Drake felt offended and felt it was directed towards him, so he said, ‘Man, say it to my face.’ My thing is, I’ma keep it hip-hop. Stay on that tip. But if he falls in that category, then so be it. I’m not going to hold my tongue.”
Right, so, Common never really made clear if it was a diss or not, though Drake's bars on Rick Ross' "Stay Schemin'," off Rich Forever, are leading us to believe that something has got to be going on here. Drizzy's bars might be littered with subliminals, but, to me at least, it seems likely that he's going at Com.
Examples:
I could go on, but that about sums it up. Also, you can watch the video for "Stay Schemin'" below.
Update: Common has directly addressed and dissed Drake in the "Stay Schemin" remix. "Make no mistake I'm talking to Drake."
