It turns out those rumors from earlier this summer are true; Iggy Pop has announced that the Iggy and The Stooges lineup that made Raw Power is reuniting for next year's All Tomorrow's Parties festival, and will be playing the album in its entirety on two separate nights.

The Stooges that made Raw Power were guitarist James Williamson, who for the last 27 years had been working in Silicon Valley, recently deceased guitarist Ron Asheton on bass, and drummer Scott Asheton. Mike Watt, who filled in on bass for The Stooges during their reunion tour and album in 2007, is going to be playing bass for this reunion too.
