New app turns iPhone into iRemote

Here’s one from the “it’s kind of cool, but in a completely unnecessary way” file: there is a new app that allows you to use your iPhone as a remote for your iTunes or Apple TV. Whether you want to use it to change songs on Exile on Main Street on your iTunes while sitting right in front of your computer, like this guy, is up to you.
While this app is pretty cool (it allows you to access your music library directly in your iPhone) it doesn’t allow you to play your music library directly on the iPhone like a wireless jukebox, which would cut down on iPhone memory space concerns. [Gizmodo]

Actually, this app is very useful... I have a I have speakers run throughout my whole house and I have a laptop connected to the central receiver... So if I'm in my basement I don't have to go upstairs to change the song, I can do it on my phone. This app is the reason i got the phone.
