A bout between Sarah Kaufman and Kaitlin Young has been added to the Invicta FC 3 card, which is slated for Oct. 6 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.
Kaufman (15-2) did the smart thing by immediately tapping when Ronda Rousey caught her in an armbar in the first round of their tilt on Aug. 18, and that decision allowed her to jump right back into action because she didn't suffer any damage to her arm.
The 26-year-old is a former Strikeforce bantamweight champ, and she's still ranked as one of the top three fighters in the world in her division.
As for Young (7-6), she's coming off a loss to Liz Carmouche on July 28, but she's a fierce striker who holds victories over Julie Kedzie and Miesha Tate. Invicta FC 3 will be headlined by an atomweight bout between Jessica Penne and Naho Sugiyama.
