Interpol Prep Deluxe ‘Turn On The Bright Lights’

This year marks the tenth anniversary of Interpol’s debut album, Turn On The Bright Lights, and to mark the occasion, the band and their label Matador will release a deluxe reissue of the album on November 20.

The doom-and-gloom will be stretched to various lengths, including 2xCD/DVD, 2xLP/DVD, and digital versions. Included is a book of unreleased photos and a disc of demos and B-sides. The DVD features music videos of album cuts “PDA,” “NYC,” and “Obstacle 1,” along with live footage from New York’s Mercury Lounge and LA’s Troubador. Those who pre-order will receive a replica of the band’s first item, an Interpol button.

Says guitarist Daniel Kessler, “We never could have imagined that the album would have reached so many people throughout the world… We wanted to do something special for the fans who have always supported us. We wanted to do something special for the best fans in the world. We hope you enjoy it.”
