Internet Group Attacks RIAA After LimeWire Shutdown

Anonymous, one of the clandestine hacking groups on 4Chan, struck a big one for LimeWire fans (?) this weekend when they crashed the RIAA's website following the organization's push to get LimeWire shutdown for good. The RIAA site is back up now, but it was down for a stretch on Friday. Anonymous is perpetrating what it calls "Operation Payback" and it's trying its best to kill the RIAA. Noble cause, I guess. But over LimeWire? I am still astounded anyone would still be downloading stuff from there. [Daily Swarm
