Nowhere Boy, John Lennon Biopic, Scored by Goldfrapp

Nowhere Boy, the biopic that tells the story of John Lennon’s tumultous early years with his mom and aunt, is set to premiere on Oct. 29 at the London Film Festival, but there’s some new news about the film to be shared: British art-rockers Goldfrapp have scored the film. There’s no word on whether or not the score will include Beatles covers, or just background music, but it’s a major coup for Goldfrapp.

The film, which was written by Control writer Matt Greenhalgh and stars Kristin Scott Thomas, is set for a 2010 worldwide release. [Pitchfork]
