Indomina Picks Up Ice-T's 'Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap' Documentary

Ice-T must have made some kind of impression at Sundance shortly ago, as the Indomina Group independent studio has purchased the rights to handle global distribution of his documentary Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap, which, you know, is pretty solid considering it's Ice-T's directorial debut.   

Here are a few words he shared on getting picked up by Indomina:

"It was important to us to get with a company that has as much passion about 'Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap' as we do and that company is Indomina,” Ice-T said. “They are a fantastic partner and a great company. We look forward to working with them and releasing this film to the world."

The doc, according to Ice-T, focuses on the "craft" of hip-hop rather than the more lavish aspects of the culture, probably something like Peter Spirer's The Art of 16 Bars that dropped back in '05. Here's the trailer to give you an idea:
