The remaining half of influential country act The Louvin Brothers (who put out the album with possibly the best ever name and cover, pictured above) will release a self-titled album on Tompkins Square Records Februrary 20th of next year. Ready for the rundown of big-name collaborators? Feast on these: Jeff Tweedy, Mac McCaughan, Eef Barzelay, Kurt Wagner, Will Oldham, Elvis Costello, and George Jones. That colorful cast will take on Louvin Brothers material as well as tunes from the Monroe Brothers, Jimmie Rogers, and the Carter Family.
