These are definitely the days of Dylan: the anthology, the touring, the podcasts, the artsy biopic with its attendant star-studded soundtrack of other musicians covering Mr. Zimmeran's music. Now that soundtrack is set to hit the stage. A show set for November 7 at New York City's Beacon Theatre is being billed asI'm Not There: In Concert. Many of the same marquee names appearing on Todd Haynes' film's soundtrack will be in attendance that night: the Lee Ranaldo-led session band the Million Dollar Bashers, Calexico, Cat Power, Yo La Tengo, Mark Lanegan, and John Doe. Additional musicians set to play the concert who aren't on the soundtrack include J Mascis, the Roots, and Gomez's Ian Ball and Olly Peacock. Check in here for more details and ticket info.
No Malkmus?

I should have mentioned that the inevitable "and special guests" are listed too, so here's guessing Stevie M. will be one of those.
