Another day, another Swedish band makes noise. Good move on the part of Mute for signing I'm From Barcelona since there are several factors that point to the band at least receiving love from the blogosphere.
1) The Swedish thing (See: Love is All, The Knife, Loney Dear, Jose Gonzalez) 2) 29 members (See: Broken Social Scene) 3) Pitchfork Best New Music (See: Annuals) 3) Naming the band a location that you're not actually from (See: Beirut)
Mute will release Let Me Introduce My Friends on March 20, 2007 in the U.S. Tracklist:
Oversleeping Collection Of Stamps We're From Barcelona Treehouse Jenny Ola Kala Chicken Pox Rec & Play This Boy (featuring Loney, Dear) Barcelona Loves You The Saddest Lullaby (featuring Mathias Alrikson)
