Iggy Pop May Reunite Raw Power-era Stooges

Now that Iggy Pop has moved on past the recent Stooges reunion to work on his jazzy new album, Preliminaires, he's started talking about another possible reunion; Iggy and the Stooges, aka the band that made Raw Power with Iggy. Talking to The Australian, Iggy said he talked to James Williamson for the first time in 30 years about working together, and said they are considering going out and touring only on Raw Power, the album Iggy made with Williamson and the recently passed Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton on bass.

There's no word on when said tour would happen, but Iggy is reportedly working on a Christmas album right now. [24 Bit]
