It's been four years since the last Stooges comeback album, the Weirdness, was released, so it's about time to start thinking a new Stooges album WON'T be a nightmare. So here comes news that the Stooges, down one Ron Asheton, are planning to record a new album soon with their 1973 guitarist, James Williamson. Williamson rejoined the band last year for the Raw Power dates, and it's first album with the band since that seminal album. There's no word on when to expect the new album, but Iggy is also working on another covers album, along the same lines as Preliminaires, his soft-jazz covers album. [24Bit]
