Simpsons and Futurama creator, Matt Groening, originally seemed like an odd choice for curator of the 2003 All Tomorrow's Parties Pacific festival, but he definitely delivered. He's back to curate the UK wing of ATP 2010, but he's got a tough job this time around. Pavement is curating their own ATP just days later at the same venue featuring the likes of Mission of Burma, Faust, Broken Social Scene, Atlas Sound and The Fall. Details are trickling out about Groening's ATP, and while it certainly lacks the holy crap factor of a reunited Pavement, it still touts a pretty solid lineup. Iggy and the Stooges (in their Raw Power lineup) and Built To Spill have just signed on, in addition to the previously announced lineup of Deerhunter, Boredoms, Panda Bear, Broadcast, Daniel Johnston and a good chunk of Groening's 2003 lineup. The Pavement festival is sold out, but tickets are still available for Groening's ATP, which takes place May 7-9 at Butlin holiday camp in Minehead, Somerset, via the ATP website. Hope you've been saving your pounds and pence... [Spinner]
