<i>Dark Was the Night</i> Raises Over $600,000

It turns out that indie-rockers getting together can lead to more than effusive blog posts: the Dark Was the Nightcompilation, put together by Aaron Dessner of the National, has raised more than $600,000 since it was released in February. That's a huge number, obviously, and all of it is going to fund AIDS charities. [NME]
