In an interview with the Daily Star, Ian Brown revealed that he is hoping to get permission to perform at three or four jails. In 1998, Brown, himself, was locked up for four months in Strangeways Prision for threatening to cut off the hands of a flight attendant. This is his attempt to give something back.
In addition to his community-minded endeavors, Brown is planning to find an orchestra to perform with for some upcoming 2008 dates. The orchestra will sport the Adidas track suits, while Brown will don ''"the dickie bow and the suit.''"
