While Hurricane Sandy has dumped lots of rain on the Atlantic Coast, it’s a big enough storm system to reach all the way into America’s heartland. Yesterday, Cleveland, Ohio suffered high winds and heavy rain, and Lake Eerie came close to topping flood walls.
Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame also experienced considerable damage due to the storm system. Winds ripped off portions of the building’s siding along its exterior, and high waters threatened to seep into the building. As of now, it’s unclear if any of the Hall’s interior was damaged. Below, watch an ABC video showing the storm’s effect on the building. [CoS]
