History: Jay-Z Performs "Glory" For First Time At Carnegie Hall
With one down and one to go, Jay-Z is half done with his pair of benefit concerts at New York City's Carnegie Hall. Last night the Brooklyn rap hero, looking dapper in a classic tux, performed "Glory"--a song penned for daughter Blue Ivy--for the first time. So, Jay played at a legendary venue with a full orchestra and performed a song he wrote for his first child, whose newborn cries are actually featured on "Glory" and broke her a Billboard record at four days old. Simply put, history has been made across the board for the Carters as of late. And below, you can check out two clips of Jay doing the song live.
