Hip-Hop Songs That Reference Reagan

In some kind of cosmic twist, the deaths of former President Reagan, rapper Big Pun and producer J Dilla all happened in early February (that’s Feb. 5, 7 and 7, for those keeping count). Shocker! Not really, seeing how each happened in completely different years. Yet it feels cosmic every successive year because the tributes come around the same time. It’s almost as if February is one big Republican, Puerto Rican donut-y mix.

While a more perfect union would have been Pun’s best reference to Reagan over a Dilla beat, we’ll have to settle for this.
