Now rolling on its third year, independent hip-hop festival Paid Dues his hitting the road and coming to the Big Apple's Nokia Theatre on June 4. The lineup is stacked, including Rakim, GZA, Buckshot, Murs & 9th Wonder, Supernatural, Scratch, Kidz in the Hall, and Yak Ballz. The goal of the event is to showcase and shine some light on hip-hop acts ignored by the mainstream who share a love for advanced lyricism and quality deejay performances. The festival is presented by Guerilla Union and hosted by Cali emcee and indie-rap posterchild Murs. In his own simple words: "It's summer. It's hip-hop. It's going to be a good time."
