I'll gladly give any new Islands material a quick spin on my stereo when it arrives, but the news that the more gentle and mysterious ex-Unicorn Alden Penner is ready to emerge from exile is cause for actual anticipation. His new three piece Clues is rounded out by ex-Arcade Fire man Brendan Reed, and Shanghai Triad's Bethany Or. The mp3 below is supposedly a sampling of the band's forthcoming record, maybe, possibly, titled Rad Boo Horror & the Glory. It's sort of like the collage at the end of Built to Spill's There's Nothing Wrong With Love, but serious. We think. Remember, this is the man who wrote "Do They Know it's Halloween?"
