Since the March release (in Europe) of their self-titled debut album, Hercules & Love Affair have been on all the hipster’s lips as one of 2008’s best new bands. What’s impressive about that notion is that the disco-revivalists have only played one U.S. show (at Brooklyn’s Studio B in May) and their album hasn’t even been released in the U.S. yet. The band will remedy the U.S. release of the album this Tuesday, as their album is finally hits U.S. shelves (via Mute/DFA). The one U.S. date will also be augmented, as the band has announced four new U.S. dates in support of the album at the end of July into August.
