Heems Of Das Racist Speaks On Wisconsin Temple Shooting

Yesterday five men and one woman were killed with three others left in critical condition following a shooting at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisc. The movie theater attack in Aurora, Col. took place only a few weeks ago.

We reported earlier that the suspected Wisconsin gunman, Wade Michael Page, fronted a hardcore white supremacist band in the past. The New York Times has also confirmed that Page was an army vet, having served in the United Sates military from 1992-98.

This recent string of massacres is not only a catalog of American gun violence in 2012, but also a tragic sign of where hate and racism are at in a post-9/11 society. Appropriately, Das Racist's Himanshu Suri (aka Heems)--who's been forwarding the dialogue on race through his music from the start--had plenty to say via Twitter yesterday. Below you can read some of his posts. [EgoTrip]
