Heavy music: CDs are for dumbbells

Myspace, schmyspace, if you want a real media visionary, look no further than Danny Seo, enterprising proprietor of the Daily Danny blog. While musicians, labels, and pundits deliberate furiously over the future of the soon-to-be-antiquated CD format in our increasingly digital world, Danny has turned those musical lemons into lemonade by creating CD dumbbells. Seo's 10-pound weights use 150 CDs, 75 on each side, and will help you build your biceps while you adjust your lifestyle to the digital music universe. Our only question: is there a DJ-friendly version that replaces those CDs with 12-inch singles, maybe with an optional beat-matching function? [Gizmodo]
