GMTV is reporting that Heather Mills, former wife of Sir Paul McCartney, has informed them that she has become a ''"prisoner''" in her own home, due to the ravenous witch-hunt called upon her by the tabloid press. While I do have the utmost sympathy for Lady Heather, it does strike me as bonkers that this ''"prison''" would allow such frequent visits from uh''¦the press.
Ms. Mills also spoke to GMTV, comparing her villified life in the tabloids to that of Kate McCann, Paula Yates (''"They abused her and then suddenly it turned around when she was dead,''" said Mills. ''"Well, I'''m not going to have that.''") and Princess Diana- they were technically both royals.
She also had a sit-down with Hello! Magazine, in which she called her former husband a ''"skinflint.''" "This is a man that hangs on to his money,''" Ms Mills told Hello!. ''"He wouldn't be rich if he didn't. Who needs that kind of money?"
