Hear Two New Mars Volta Tracks: “Noctourniquet” & “Zed And Two Naughts”

In mid-February we got “The Malkin Jewel,” the first taste from The Mars Volta‘s upcoming album, Noctourniquet, out March 27 via Warner Bros. Now you can hear two more songs from the group’s release: the title track, “Noctourniquet” and the album closer “Zed and Two Naughts.” Like “Jewel,” these songs chaotically spacey (see: progressive), embodying the hard, occasionally pretty psychedelia that Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala have been known to create.

If you’ve pre-ordered Noctourniquet, or plan on doing so, you’ll now get “Zed” in addition to “Jewel,” the LP’s first single. However, in the mean time, you can stream the title track and “Zed” below–though they’re together in the video, the songs split around the 5:30 mark.
