What year is it today? We've got David Bowie, Tom Waits, and Keith Richards all piping up with new tunes. Now, Jimi Hendrix is back from the dead with a song that hasn't seen the light of day since it was recorded back in '68.
Hendrix's posthumous album People, Hell and Angels will feature 12 similarly unreleased tracks from the tail end of the '60s, including the following, "Somewhere." The sound of the record is said to diverge from that of Hendrix's work with the Experience, diving into more diverse instrumentation than his signature psychedelic rock getup. People, Hell and Angels will be released March 5th via Legacy. [CoS]
