Health Records Daytrotter Session

The members of Health are gearing up for the release of their excellent Get Color  album, which is due on September 8 on the Lovepump Unlimited label. Health stopped by the Daytrotter studios to record a session ahead of the album’s release, and two songs from Get Colour (“We Are Water” and “Death +”) feature.

Their atonal rock is less controlled in a live setting, but they still pile on the FX, which are tightly held together by some impressive drumming. “Don't set too many expectations and rules,” they say in the notes accompanying the session. “That's just trapping others in your dimension.”
