Remember that golden ticket competition that Health set in motion to help promote Get Color? Well, there’s been a winner. New Yorker Daniel Walsh discovered a golden ticket in a copy of the album that he picked up in Soundfix in Brooklyn, and he will now accompany the band to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles.
"Roller coasters and I don't mix well," said Walsh. But he had some inspiring words about the competition: "[Winning] has made me realize the necessity of reaching for the golden ticket hidden in all of life's opportunities, disappointments, experiences, and interactions."
Further golden tickets are out there somewhere, so the competition hasn’t reached an end yet. In the meantime, Health has been busy making a promo video for animal rights organization PETA (see above) and is set to head out on a short tour in November. Full dates listed below:
