Some changes are in the air for Champaign, Illinois based indie rock band Headlights on the group's new album Some Racing, Some Stopping. Previously a tight trio, the band has been fleshed out by friends Kenny Seibert and Nick Sanborn of Decibully and John Owen of Shipwreck. Some Racing, Some Stopping, scheduled for a February 19 release via Polyvinyl, is Headlights' sophomore full-length after 2006 debut Kill Them With Kindness. The new record is tipped to be a back to basics affair, despite the band's new members, as it was recorded by Headlights in a farmhouse just outside of Champaign. The band will close out 2007 with some December touring, ending with a New Year's Eve show in its hometown.
