Headlights turn on for new album, touring

Some changes are in the air for Champaign, Illinois based indie rock band Headlights on the group's new album Some Racing, Some Stopping. Previously a tight trio, the band has been fleshed out by friends Kenny Seibert and Nick Sanborn of Decibully and John Owen of Shipwreck. Some Racing, Some Stopping, scheduled for a February 19 release via Polyvinyl, is Headlights' sophomore full-length after 2006 debut Kill Them With Kindness. The new record is tipped to be a back to basics affair, despite the band's new members, as it was recorded by Headlights in a farmhouse just outside of Champaign.
The band will close out 2007 with some December touring, ending with a New Year's Eve show in its hometown. Follow on after the jump for details on those dates...
