Gypsy rock continues to plug along in '07. Beirut has already released an EP, an eMusic twofer, and from the stills that circulated the interwebs last week, is prepping one hell of a kinky video for "Elephant Gun." Now frequent Zach Condon collaborator Jeremy Barnes and his group A Hawk and a Hacksaw are returning with an enticing release. May 7 is slated to bring an eight-song mini-album H&H recorded with traditional Hungarian musicians the Hun Hangar ensemble. The audio CD will come bundled with a DVD that includes behind-the-scenes and concert footage from H&H's last tour. Only 4,000 copies will be released, so get 'em fast.
