Handsome Furs Announce New Album, 'Sound Kapital,' Release New Single

Now that Wolf Parade are on an indefinite hiatus, expect a bevy of material from the band's side projects, especially Handsome Furs, Dan Boeckner's band with his wife Alexei Perry. In fact (transition), Handsome Furs already have an album in the can ready to go: It's called Sound Kapital, and it's due out on June 28 via Sub Pop. The album, like Face Control before it, was influenced by Eastern Europe and the band's travels through the region. There is one major change: The album was written entirely on keyboards, so there might be fewer guitar fireworks here. 

That's not all! Below, you can hear "What About Us," the first track leaked from the album. You can download it too, if you so choose. It's got that epic, shiny Handsome Furs sound, without the guitars.
