Here's a story to remind you that you are broke: Someone paid $1.2 million for John Lennon's hand-written lyrics to "Day In the Life" this weekend. The lyrics were actually a set--the first draft which was written in cursive, and then the version used in the studio written in block letters. That is so much money to spend on two sheets of paper. I guess that would be a cool thing to have if you like burning your money, but really, wouldn't you rather listen to the song instead if staring at a sheet with the words to the song on it?
