Seems gentrification isn't just a problem in the U.S. Succumbing to a fate similar to that of CBGB's, London's famed Hammersmith Palais is set to be a torn down. The concert venue, home to a thriving West London music scene for decades, was of course immortalized in The Clash's "(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais."
