Twenty interesting facts about "Hallelujah"

If you're like me, then at this time of the year you're listening to Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" on constant rotation (although I prefer Jeff Buckley's version). Although its not technically a Christmas song, it definitely has a wintery feel, and the repetition of the word "hallelujah" seems to connote feelings of Christian brotherly goodwill. The Telegraph has published a list of twenty facts about the song that may be of interest to Cohen aficianados. Among the most interesting: the song originally had 80 verses, and it is played at 2 a.m. every Saturday night in Israel.
