It’s fashion week in New York City, and while many are mourning the sad loss of Alexander McQueen, the party must go on. Last night (Feb. 11) the Varvatos Store held a large-scale party for the event, and managed to score a huge coup by getting Guns N’ Roses to perform.
The store is in the space where CBGB used to reside, making it one of the most intimate performances by the band since anyone can remember. But apparently the gathered fashionistas followed in the footsteps of anyone who heard Chinese Democracy and snubbed the band—according to this report, the venue was less than half full at the close of the set.
Sebastian Bach and Kevin Bacon were among the celebrities present to see the 17-song set, which included “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Paradise City,” and other staples from the band’s back catalog. Low quality video, such as the one below, is already surfacing from the event, and here’s the full setlist:
01. You're Crazy
02. Mr Brownstone
03. I Used to Love Her
04. Welcome to the Jungle
05. Street Of Dreams (The Blues)
06. Sorry
07. It's So Easy
08. Band intros --> Patience
09. Rocket Queen
10. Jam --> Catcher in the Rye
11. My Michelle
12. Knockin on Heavens Door

If the venue was half-full at the end of the set, did it start full? Or was nobody interested from the start?
