Guns N’ Roses Leaker Gets Probation and Will Make PSAs, Possibly to Apologize For Leaking Subpar Albums

Blogger Kevin Cogill, who shot to fame for five minutes after leaking Guns N’ Roses’ Chinese Democracy, has been sentenced to two months home confinement and a year of probation. Though prosecuters were originally seeking as much as six months in prison and a fine of $371,000, Cogill has agreed to appear in public service announcements denouncing his behavior. Though the punishment (or lack thereof)  fits the crime, hopefully the ads will feature Cogill personally apologizing to Axl and then protecting his kidneys for the next twenty-seven seconds.
