Guitar Hero set to rock the '80s

Air guitar nerds rejoice! Video game company Activision has announced that the next installment of its ultra-popular Guitar Hero game will feature hard-rockin' hits from the '80s. What's on tap and ready to rock? Here are the songs picked for the game so far: Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock;" Dio's "Holy Diver;" Flock of Seagulls' "I Ran;" Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy;" Asia's "Heat of the Moment;" Quiet Riot's "Metal Health;" and Ratt's "Round and Round."
Flock of Seagulls? Really? Don't remember much guitar in that song. Activision might need to develop a Synthesizer Hero game as well.
How crazy are people about this game? Here's a comment from a disgruntled customer upon finding out the game won't be out in a Wii version: "SUCKS! bite My balls activision!!!" Kids and their mastery of the English language these days.

How great would Synth-Hero fucking be? Van Halen's "Jump," the solo from Berlin's "Metro," Depeche Mode's "Dreaming of Me," pretty much anything by Gary Numan/Tubeway Army, and so on...

I look forward to abstract glitchpop hero. You get to spend months getting sweaty and fat in front of your pc putting together albums for incredibly small very geographically disbursed internet audiences.
