Air guitar nerds rejoice! Video game company Activision has announced that the next installment of its ultra-popular Guitar Hero game will feature hard-rockin' hits from the '80s. What's on tap and ready to rock? Here are the songs picked for the game so far: Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock;" Dio's "Holy Diver;" Flock of Seagulls' "I Ran;" Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy;" Asia's "Heat of the Moment;" Quiet Riot's "Metal Health;" and Ratt's "Round and Round."Flock of Seagulls? Really? Don't remember much guitar in that song. Activision might need to develop a Synthesizer Hero game as well.
How crazy are people about this game? Here's a comment from a disgruntled customer upon finding out the game won't be out in a Wii version: "SUCKS! bite My balls activision!!!" Kids and their mastery of the English language these days.

How great would Synth-Hero fucking be? Van Halen's "Jump," the solo from Berlin's "Metro," Depeche Mode's "Dreaming of Me," pretty much anything by Gary Numan/Tubeway Army, and so on...
