Grohl Reteams With Vig For New Foo Fighters Album

Prepare to feel very old: Dave Grohl is preparing to mark the twentieth anniversary of Nirvana’s Nevermind by reteaming with producer Butch Vig for the Foo Fighters’ seventh album. Though Grohl’s comments might have been tempered slightly by the bottle of Jameson whiskey that accompanied them, he said that he’s already demoing songs with drummer Taylor Hawkins. Grohl went on to say that this album would be his “heaviest yet” and that he hopes to record it in his garage. While the jury’s still out being able to go home again, something tells me that Grohl won’t be able to leave his house after running through a few takes in his neighborhood. [Rolling Stone]
