Grizzly Bear Crash Bus, Cancel Show

Edward Droste, member of Grizzly Bear and one of the more prolific musicians on Twitter, broke the news Saturday that the band was involved in a road accident after a show in Munich. The band members were unable to make their next destination: a sold-out show in Milan, opening for Wilco. 

All members of the band and crew have been reported injury-free, a new bus has been retrieved, and the band plans to finish the tour as scheduled. If there's an upside, it's that, according to the Twitter feed of Annie Clark, who is currently opening for Grizzly Bear with her band St. Vincent and was apparently on the bus that crashed, she and some of the band spent the time in the middle of Austria thoroughly enjoying themselves. Ah, Twitter: such a news-gathering tool.
