Grizzly Bear Announce Tour Dates

The mood is a bit mixed in the Grizzly Bear camp these days, what with the leaking of a low quality version of Veckatimest months ahead of its May 26 release date. Ed Droste writes on the band's blog "So yeah, we are kind of bummed this leaked so early. We know it’s not the 90’s anymore and times have changed...but we were kind of hoping it wouldn’t happen this soon."

But the news isn't all bad, firstly, reactions to the album have been positive, with Fleet Foxes' Robin Pecknold going so far as to call it "the album of the 00's." Droste confirms that this news has cheered the band up a bit; he tweeted "I'm happy people are loving it. Makes me smile!" Secondly, following last weekends' performance with the Brooklyn Philharmonic, the band has announced a 21-date tour for this Summer. So there's still plenty to get excited about.
