Greg Dulli to Embark on First Solo Tour

For the first time in his 25-year music career, Greg Dulli will be flying solo on the road, having announced a 29-city world tour that will see the chain-smoking indie vet make stops in five different countries. 

The amps, though, will be stowed away as Dulli's fall jaunt, elegantly dubbed "An Evening with Greg Dulli," promises to be an acoustic affair that will include several new songs from Twilight Singers' upcoming album due out in early 2011 on Sub Pop (though you can be sure some Afghan Whigs material will be sprinkled in as well). Still, Dulli won't technically be alone on this trek as he will be joined by Twilight Singers guitarist Dave Rosser and multi-instrumentalist Rick Nelson from Polyphonic Spree for these stripped-down sets.
