Somewhat lost in the shuffle of all of this year's great new albums has been a little gem of a folk rock record named Ongiara by Great Lake Swimmers. Not that the band hasn't been out on the road supporting the album. Hell, Great Lake Swimmers has been touring pretty much non-stop since Ongiara came out. September and October will find the band doing much of the same. The band will spend most of those two months touring its native Canada, with a small stretch of U.S. dates sandwiched in-between, then finish the whole shebang up in Chicago.
