Great Gatsby Movie Pushed To 2013

The glitziest movie of the holiday season is now being pushed back to May 2013—Bah Luhrmann’s lurid-looking 3D The Great Gatsby has seen its December release date filled by Les Miserables, so it’s gearing up for a springtime release. So to everyone whose pulses spiked when they heard Frank Ocean singing the hook of “No Church In The Wild” over images of Jazz Age NYC, it’s time to cool your jets. This film isn’t getting anywhere for another eight months. Bide your time by dreaming of next May, where theatergoers will get Gatsby, Iron Man 3, and the Star Trek sequel. [NY Mag]
