Grandmaster Flash to release first album in 20 years

 

Finally, an excuse for me to post "White Lines (Don't Do It)": Grandmaster Flash has announced his first album since 1988's On The Strength, titled The Bridge: Concept Of A Culture, due out on February 24. The album features collaborations with the likes of Q-Tip, Busta, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One and Snoop Dogg.

mmmm.. "White Lines" was a Melle Mel song that Grandmaster Flash had nothing to do with. So your posting of it kinda makes no sense.

Technically, the song was credited to Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel for years in order to confuse people into thinking Flash was still on Sugar Hill. He didn't really have anything to do with it, but it is still credited to him--wrongly I suppose, but since for 25 years it's been that way, I put it here. Search iTunes for the song, and I guarantee Flash's name is on it.
