Speaking of bands that should reunite, Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon "met for an enjoyable lunch" this past Monday, along with Dave Rowntree and Alex James. So says the official Blur website, where the band posted about their coffee & TV to answer any speculation about Coxon's re-entry and, by association, the world's musical salvation from Albarn's scattered musical attentions. While they say there are "currently no other music plans for Blur," they must be aware that this will only fuel the hopes and speculations of millions of people who die a little bit every time "Feel Good Inc." plays on the radio. Either that or they're counting on Radiohead to distract everybody by signing a record deal tomorrow. Easily.
