It seemed like the Blur reunion was over almost before it began, with Damon Albarn and bassist Alex James indicating that they had no further plans to play together. Now Graham Coxon is suggesting that further dates are a possibility, saying they are in talks to play outside their native U.K.
"We're talking about doing some more shows abroad... I'm not sure how much I can say about that, but we're definitely talking about it,” he told radio station XFM. This could be good news for North American Blur fans, although the band’s notorious distaste for lengthy American tours means any appearances here will likely be brief.
Coxon also suggested the band may record new material: "I think I said, that'd be quite good fun,” he said. “That's as far as it's gone. We didn't bother really talking about it, we were just having a good time.” Albarn had previously claimed “This is our last gig” during their headline appearance at the T in the Park Festival in Scotland.
